Romano x Reader: Sharing Rage (Drabble)

[WARNING: Excessive cursing]

It was a normal Friday morning for you as you took the bus to your job and you were sitting in the far back of it, just minding your own business and listening to music on your phone. However, for some reason, there always have to be those people that seem to exist just to annoy the hell out of you and test your patience. Not only that, of course one of those people had to be on the same bus as you.

Now, normally whenever you encountered an annoying person on the bus you got annoyed for a moment and then let it go, but this time was different.

This morning there was an awful amount of people entering the bus and it quickly filled up. Well, almost. It would have been able carry more people, if it hadn’t been for a certain woman who was one of the people who were forced to stand up, since all of the seats were taken. She had planted herself between two poles and clung onto both of them, preventing any people behind her to get past. This caused a massive blockage of people in the front half of the bus and by the driver, where people got on.

This also greatly limited the amount of people who could get on the bus, but she didn’t seem to care. Now perhaps it wouldn’t have irked you as much if it wasn’t for the fact that you had seen her actively stop a passenger from going past her. Not only that, she was offered a seat by another passenger and of course she jumped on the opportunity and placed her butt on the seat.

Soon enough the person sitting beside her got up and got off at his stop, leaving an empty seat beside her. Now one more person would be able to sit down instead of being forced to remain standing in the still filled bus. Or at least that’s what you thought.

The woman once again surprised you by placing her bag in the seat beside her! When you saw this you just wanted to curse her out so much that she wouldn’t know out from in, but you reigned your temper and held back. Although, there was a person whom had also witnessed this stupid woman’s actions and had had just about enough of her as you. The only difference was that he didn’t reign his temper.

He got up and stalked up the the woman, and proceeded to paint her in so many colours with his vibrant language that it put any sailor to shame.

“Tù cagna stupida! What the hell makes-a you think that you’re-a fucking entitled to two fucking seats when-a the rest of us are making do with-a one goddamn seat, you selfish asshole?! Especially after-a you fucking blocked the aisle for others like you’re-a the fucking almighty of-a this shitty world?! Well, news flash-a, you little piece of shit, you’re-a fucking not! Now move-a your goddamn bag and-a let someone else sit down before I-a do it for you, you bitch!” The man, of obvious Italian descent, shouted mercilessly at the woman, all in one go and barely without pause.

You were impressed by his courage to actually confront that hag and curse her out the way he did, but you were even more impressed when she actually did what he demanded and moved her bag from the seat. You guessed that she was too stunned to do anything else. Though, the last thing that surprised you was the fact that he wasn’t thrown out of the bus. The driver simply carried on as if nothing happened and after the man had finished his rant he went back to his own seat beside you.

You didn’t say anything to the man when he returned, but stayed silent. In fact neither of you said a word for the rest of the trip and when it was almost time for you to get off you pressed the Stop button.

When the bus stopped, and you prepared to get off, the man also got up. At first you thought he was just being polite and moved in order to make it easier for you to get off, but to your surprise he also got where you did. Once the two of you had hopped off and the bus had driven off, you decided you would speak up, seeing as neither of you had left the bus stop yet.

“... That was an impressive scolding you gave that woman,” you told him a little awkwardly.
“Well, I wasn’t-a fucking trying to-a be impressive. That bitch had it-a coming. I had-a grown fucking tired of her damn shit-a. What’s-a it to you anyway?” He had started out nonchalant, but the last thing he said was a bit snappy, which bugged you.
“It’s nothing to me, except that I was irked by that bitch too. You don’t have to be so snappy,” you shot back, your annoyance clear in your voice.
The Italian man let out an amused chuckle. “Heh, well then I-a guess we’re-a sharing rage.” He started to walk away. “The name’s-a Lovino Vargas by-a the way, ragazza.” Was the last thing he said before he disappeared from your sight.

You began to leave as well, so you wouldn’t be late for work. However, as you walked you couldn’t help, but wonder if you would ever see this temperamental man, with a funny curl that stuck out on the right of his auburn locks, ever again. You sure hoped you would, then you could introduce yourself properly. He seemed like an interesting fellow to be sure.

--------------------------------
So, this was a short little thing I came up with on the bus to school one day. It is based on something that really happened to me, minus Romano, on my way to school just a week ago or so. That lady annoyed the living hell out of me, I tell ya! I wish someone had gone told that bitch off! So I thought a few days ago: "Hey, why not write a fanfic about it?"

At first I contemplated making it a Romano x Yoh fanfic, but then decided to go with reader insert instead. Can't remember the reason now, as I'm typing this, but eh. Not the end of the world. And funny thing about this is that as I was writing this fanfic, I was writing it in the notes on my new Samsung phone, when I hit the part where Romano's cursing the woman out my phone decided to be a dick and tell me that "You have now reached the limit for the amount of characters you can write in this memo", and I was like: "What the fucking eff?! What kind of shittery is this?!" So yeah, the majority of this is written on my phone, and the rest is written on computer.
