Hetalia x Yoh: Dancing Samurai!
"SAMURAI!!"
That exclamation along with the slamming of the doors to the building was one of the first things that people at the W Academy heard that morning, and it was quickly followed by loud music and the smattering of feet quickly dancing to the beat.
I had found a new music addiction and I wanted to make sure everyone knew what it was. Thanks to one of the goddesses of covers - JubyPhonic - I had found something I didn't know I was craving. She had created the ultimate techno song and even managed to get me out of my obsession with that idiot Dane's song.
I danced by row upon row of people to the beat of the music while singing along as much as I could. I turned heads with every jump and twirl, but I didn't care as I kept on digging to the rhythm of the electronic beats.
"With rhythm and precision, to the guys, I do apologize!" I sang as I grinned and tilted my head cockily.
I danced by America and Britain, both of which were stunned speechless. At least until America decided to shout.
"AHAHAHA!!! THE DUDETTE'S FINALLY SHOWING HER WILD SIDE!!!"
"Don't act like such a git, America!"
I ignored them and continued past them, dancing up to Japan and the rest of the Axis further down the corridor as well.
"Oh! I need a bigger country please! Born in Japan, grown as a man, I have a dream!"
I stepped, clicking my shoes against the floor, and jumped into the air and executed a small spin then landed on my feet elegantly by the trio whom each had a different reaction.
Veneziano clapped his hands in glee, while grinning from ear to ear. He looked like he was about to join me in my dance too. Germany was indifferent - well, sort of. He was a little confused, but Japan on the other hand seemed torn between whether he should be pleased, disturbed or embarrassed, and his face was painted a faint pink colour. The reason for this was because he was the one who had introduced me to all that had with Vocaloid to do. Not only that he had also helped me improve my dancing.
"If rhythm isn’t in it, please go die, then I’ll apologize!" I continued to sing as I danced up to Austria and Hungary. I grabbed ahold of the prude Austria and spun around with him.
Austria was beyond confused and tried to protest, but to no avail as I was so caught up in the music and song that I didn't even hear his protesting or his insistent spouting about how this wasn't real music.
I just laughed and spun him to Hungary who caught him before pirouetting away from them and up to Belgium, Liechtenstein and Ukraine.
"Walking up to me, I see the ladies wandering, but I shouldn’t say a word, they’re way outta my league! Then again I’m feeling good, so why not bid hello?"
I took one of Liechtenstein's hands and lightly pecked the back of it. She blushed as the other girls, especially Hungary, in the back, squealed excitedly and I could swear I heard the sound of a rifle being unsecured. I gently grabbed Liechtenstein's other hand and invited her to dance with me. Taking the role of the man, I led her with ease then after one last spin I let go of her and continued on my merry way through the school.
"Ahh! Am I not the perfect man? Wait and see, I’ll be the strongest in the land!"
I approached Turkey and Greece and prepared to jump. When I got near I took the leap and they managed to catch me. Once they set me down apparently they also like my music as for short time they danced with me. I took their hands and allowed them to send me flying high in the air.
"Who would have thought the girl was so wild?" Turkey asked out loud after they had tossed me.
"... Your timing... could... have been... better..." Greece remarked.
"Oh yeah?! Well, you almost dropped her when she threw herself at us, Jerkules!"
"... No..."
"You sure did!"
"... No..."
And they were at it again, but that didn't bother me as I landed in the arms of Prussia and he was, of course, surrounded by his friends in the BTT. The three of them had parked themselves outside the chemistry room where their first class would be.
"With rhythm and precision, I’ll be ha--ppy with my life! Dancing with your pace, this age don't mean a thing! You’re livin’ to the limit or you’re Loser Samurai!"
I poked him hard in the chest as if I directed that part of the song - the loser part - to him while donning a smug grin.
Prussia looked offended, but played along as he set me down onto my feet and twirled me around. He then handed me to France whom smiled at having the chance to dance with me.
Dancing in your life, someday I’ll be no more
With music I’ll fade through it, when I'm dying, I’ll be alright
The music turned somber and a little slower, as did the lyrics. This caused France to gain a melancholic look on his face as he turned the dance into a slightly faster waltz. The lyrics had an effect on him as he thought the lyrics applied to me.
"You still have have many years to come, ma cherie," he whispered to me.
"And you still don't have a chance with me, Frenchie face," I replied which caused him to pout like a little child before he handed me over to Spain as the pace picked up again.
Spain welcomed me with a warm smile on his face which I returned and greeted him.
"¡Hola!" The two of us said at the same time, both smiling like two goofs. This caused a couple of jealous glances from the other two members in the BTT.
Dancing in the night, I’m out taking the floor
With rhythm and precision, to the guys, I do apologize
Dancing all the night, this age partied away
We’ll overthrow the morning sun so
Viva samurai
"Let's test that rhythm and precision, chica!" Spain declared mischievously.
The two of us shared a quick and different kind of tango to the music, moving our feet to the beat and sharing a passion for rhythm. However, the song was nearing its end, and I still hadn’t gotten to dance with one specific nation. Spain took notice and sent me spinning through the hall until I was caught by my final partner’s hands.
I looked up and locked eyes with embarrassed hazel ones. I smirked and started the dance back up again with my final partner and he fell into the rhythm, after some insistent coaxing from me and some embarrassed cursing from him, much to the shock of all onlookers. They hadn’t seen Romano give into something silly like this before.
I let my head fall back and my entire body along with it. Romano easily followed and held me up as I yelled out the last lines of the song.
“Til they start to yell! Real Samurai! SAMURAAAAAAAI!” I yelled at the top of my lungs to the music then I separated myself from Romano’s grasp and started moving my body along to the last beats of the song.
Romano stared at me for a moment then shook his head. Once the song was over he was quick to lightly hit me over the head and call me an idiot for being so pulled in by a techno song. To this I only laughed and jabbed him in the ribs for his comment. Then the two of us proceeded to walk down the rest of the hallway to our first class, not entirely oblivious to the mass of ogling nations behind us.

This is a little short story thing that I started writing on my phone while the bus a couple of months ago. I hit a bit of a roadblock at Spain's part, but after some time I managed to write it down and finish the story. Then it was off to my proof readers for beta reading and editing, and now finally it is done.
A little piece of news. I now have two more beta reader added to my team, so it might take a little longer for my fics to come out (as if I wasn't slow enough as it is), since all of my fanfics will now go through four beta readers who all got their own lives to deal with as well.
Disclaimer:
I don't own Hetalia,
I don't own the the song Dancing Samurai
I don't own this cover
I only own myself and this story.
