You walk up to me, striking up a chat
I don't remove my headphones
You get angry
but I'm not rude
This is who I am
I lower my volume for you

Don't be mad, I can still hear you
Don't get mad when I ask "What?"
Sometimes I just have trouble catching one word
but I'm not rude
"Wait don't leave!"
I remove my headphones
just for you

This is just a little quick poem I scribbled down during lunch yesterday.
Figured I'd upload it.
It's basically describing me how I am in conversations. I always have my headphones on, so I can listen to music, and I like to keep them on as much as possible. So when people try to talk to me it's very often they'll be talking to me with my headphones on. Some might take it as rude, but as this poem says. It's just who I am. I can't live without my music, and especially when I'm out.
Hm... At this rate I might be able to print my own little poem collection. If for nothing else than my own personal enjoyment.
